In response to the dispute on the Map thread in regards to a certain region, I believe we should define clearly what constitutes to a contested region in 0.0 space before continuing so such an episode will not repeat itself in the future.
Once we agree, changes (if needed) will be made on the map and the thread will be reopened.
Arguing and bickering about the specific region in question will be deleted, criticism of the mapmaker will be deleted. Players trolling, flaming and/or exhibiting general nastiness will be appropriately warned/banned.
This is your opportunity to make your voice heard to improve the map in general, not just for now but for the future as well. Keep the discussion positive please, a vote will go up tommorow or in a couple of days to determine the outcome.
Starting points:
A contested region can be defined...
a) Where an enemy force is attacking an alliance region and resident in its territory for a minimum of 6 hours a day.
b) Where an enemy force is attacking an alliance region and resident in its territory for a minimum of 9 hours a day.
c) Where an enemy force is attacking an alliance region and resident in its territory for a minimum of 12 hours a day.
d) Something else (please specifiy)

How about we do away with the contested region state and just leave the red war blob state there to signify conflict. In time it will be well known when a region changes hands, and it can be argued not all fights in 0.0 are for territorial control.
What do you think?

Ok so how about regions will only be shown to be in conflict (red blob) and will no longer be shown as contested for ownership(stripes).
It will simply the map again I think when a region clearly changes hands it would be obvious to all anyway.

I'm sorry to announce that the territorial map of 0.0 space will not be starting up again.
Many thanks to all the map makers that have worked on them over the past year.
